The Game Awards 2023 maakt nominaties bekend

The Game Awards heeft de genomineerde games voor 2023 bekendgemaakt. Het is een bijzonder goed jaar voor gaming, dus de categorieën zijn meer competitief dan normaal. Opvallend daarbij is dat bijvoorbeeld Starfield niet genomineerd is voor Game of the Year en slechts één nominatie in de wacht heeft gesleept (beste RPG).

De genomineerden en winnaars van The Game Awards worden voor negentig procent bepaald door een jury van meer dan honderd media- en influencer-platforms wereldwijd. De overgebleven tien procent wordt bepaald door de stemmen van fans. The Game Awards, die alweer toe is aan zijn tiende edtie, wordt op 8 december om 1:30 Nederlandse tijd uitgezonden op YouTube en Twitch.
