GTA: Chinatown Wars grootste portable GTA ooit

In een recent interview met Nintendo Power heeft Gordon Hall, voorzitter van Rockstar Leeds, gezegd van mening te zijn dat GTA: Chinatown Wars de grootste GTA voor een handheld ooit wordt. Dit is merkwaardig aangezien er eerder twee GTA games op de PSP zijn verschenen, een apparaat dat technisch gezien significant krachtiger is.

“Chinatown Wars is much bigger than anything we have ever done before [in terms of scope]: more odd jobs, deeper missions, and more moments of over-the-top action. We have a huge interaction with the Rockstar Social Club, a massive [narcotics trafficking] game that would stand alone on its own. The list goes on and on; this thing is huge. We are very proud of all of the PSP games we have made, especially the two GTA games, but this game is far bigger.”

Uit Halls woorden lijkt op te maken dat het vooral om de hoeveelheid gameplay-elementen gaat en het werk dat is gestoken in het creëren van orginele missies. Het gebied waarin dit alles zich afspeelt zal echter ook niet mis zijn. Ons is verteld dat dit net zo groot zal zijn als dat van GTA4.
