Cloud saves ME2 niet compatibel met ME3
Als je van plan bent om met je oude save game uit Mass Effect 2 verder te gaan in Mass Effect 3 en je maakt gebruikt van de save cloud, dan hebben we slecht nieuws: saves importeren is onmogelijk.
Electronic Arts heeft op zijn eigen website laten weten dat save games uit Mass Effect 2 alleen te importen zijn wanneer die is opgeslagen op de harde schijf van de Xbox 360.
"We are currently aware of an issue that may prevent Xbox 360 users from importing their completed Mass Effect 2 save game files into Mass Effect 3", zo staat er te lezen. "While Mass Effect 3 supports cloud saving for new or successfully imported Mass Effect 2 saves, it does not support the importation of endgame saves directly from the cloud. Additionally, this can cause it to not recognize save files that have been transferred via cloud to a console other than the one where they originated."
