Torino 2006: Olympische Winterspelen

2K Sports (onderdeel van Take Two) gaat de officiële game van de Olympische Winterspelen in Torino (Italië) uitgeven. Het spel heet Torino 2006 en zal verschijnen op PC, PlayStation 2 en Xbox.

Torino 2006 wordt ontwikkeld door International Sports Multimedia (ISM), dat de exclusieve rechten van het IOC heeft om games uit te geven rond de Olympische Spelen. Het spel zal naast acht wintersporten ook diverse evenementen en prachtige winterse landschappen bevatten. De sporten zijn voorzien van authentieke commentaarstemmen. Tot vier spelers kunnen samen spelen via head-to-head of turn-based play. De Olympische Winterspelen vinden plaats van 10 tot 26 februari, het spel moet iets daarvoor al in de winkels liggen, namelijk in januari al.
