Homeworld review @ Gamespot

Gamespot heeft een review van Homeworld online gezet. Ze zijn behoorlijk onder de indruk van het spel, het krijgt ook een 8,9. Het is een TRUE 3D Space RTS gamepie, dat wil zeggen dat je ook alle kanten opkan. Zeker de moeite waard voor RTS fans.

Dit nog ff over het 3d gebeuren:

But the most obvious difference between this and other real-time strategy games is the true 3D nature of the ameworld. You're in deep space, after all, so there is no restriction on the direction in which your units may travel. As a result, you'll have to learn to think and move using three axes at all times. This can be extremely confusing if you jump right in, which is why you ought to go through Homeworld's excellent tutorial regardless of your experience with real-time strategy games.

Ook wil ik nog ff zeggen dat het multiplayer gebeuren goed in elkaar zit... Dat vind ik zelf ook altijd ERG belangrijk
