Payday 2 winstgevend voor release
Volgens een uitspraak van ontwikkelaar Starbreeze Studios is al het geld dat uitgever 505 Games in Payday 2 geïnvesteerd heeft, terugverdiend door pre-orders. Het geld dat in de toekomst door verkoop van de game verdiend wordt, is dus enkel winst.

Payday 2 verschijnt op 13 augustus voor Steam en op 16 augustus voor Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3.
