Laatste Gears of War 3-DLC aangekondigd
Epic Games heeft de vierde en laatste DLC aangekondigd voor Gears of War 3, het Forces of Nature map pack. De content is onderdeel van van de Gears of War 3 season pass en is op 27 maart beschikbaar voor 800 Microsoft Points.
De DLC bevat vijf nieuwe maps, drie nieuwe en twee klassieke uit eerdere delen. De nieuwe maps zijn Artillery, Aftermath en Cove. De klassieke maps worden Raven Down uit Gears of War en Jacinto uit Gears of War 2.
Verder zal de DLC vier nieuwe character skins bevatten, Commando Dom, Mechanic Baird, Savage Grenadier Elite en Savage Hunter. Ook komt de guardian mode uit Gears of War 2 terug met zeven nieuwe weapon skins.
Op de vraag of er nooit meer een DLC zal worden uitgebracht zegt Epic-baas Rod Fergusson: "It's kind of a ‘never say never' perspective."
"We've completed the obligation for those with the season pass, so it's really now all about community demand and those sorts of things and what people want. But I mean, it takes a lot of effort to create DLC, and in terms of internal resources and what we're focused on, that kind of stuff."
"It's really driven by player demand. If players are dying for it and they want it, then it's something that we can definitely look at."
