Iedere fan van de old-skool adventures kent ScummVM wel. Deze applicatie is bedoeld om oude adventurespellen te spelen onder nieuwe OS'en. Origineel was het bedoeld om alleen alle LucasArts games te draaien. Het programma werkte als een emulator/VM voor de scripts die zijn gegenereerd met de Script Creation Utility for Manic Mansion (SCUMM). Tegenwoordig ondersteunt het ook vele andere adventure formaten zoals Revolution's Virtual Theatre systeem. (BaSS, FotAQ)
We are pleased to announce the 0.9.1 ScummVM bugfix release. There were lots of important bugfixes and small improvements. We are also glad that three additional platforms are now officially supported: Nintendo DS, GP2X and GP32. You can already download official DS and GP2X binaries, and the GP32 port will be available soon.
Je kan dus nu al je favoriete adventure games spelen op je DS.
