Halo 2 cheaters teisteren Bungie

Met de komst van een paar nieuwe maps bleek dat Bungies paradepaardje regelmatig last heeft van cheaters. Diverse fora op het internet hadden complete FAQ's klaarstaan hoe je het beste kon cheaten.

Bungie heeft besloten dit met alle macht tegen te gaan. Vind je een cheater op het Xbox Live netwerk, dan vraagt Bungie je dit zo snel mogelijk te melden. Ook zijn er andere sites die werk maken van het opsporen en rapporteren van een cheater.

I and Bumbadawg (a fellow member and friend) played a Double Team match on Warlock. But then we pulled out our ultimate weapon, that cannot be stopped, will never run out of ammo, and is devastating. Our capture cards.

We recorded them and after the match a phone call was made to the XBL Hotline (1-800-4-my-xbox, and press 3) and armed with a post-game report and video evidence this cheater was quickly banned. Along with 3 more of his clan.

Word je nu betrapt met cheaten, dan loop je het risico voor altijd geband te worden. Tot nu toe zijn er 3200 bans geweest. 2600 daarvan zijn nog steeds actief.
