38 Studios ontslaat alle medewerkers
En wederom is er een gamebedrijf opgedoekt. 38 Studios heeft bekendgemaakt al haar medewerkers te ontslaan. Het bedrijf is vooral bekend van Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning en werd in 2006 opgericht door voormalig MLB-speler Curt Schilling. Financiële verliezen hebben geleid tot dit besluit, aldus 38 Studios.
Onderstaand is het officiële statement van het bedrijf:
"The Company is experiencing an economic downturn. To avoid further losses and possibility of retrenchment, the Company has decided that a companywide lay off is absolutely necessary.
These layoffs are non-voluntary and non-disciplinary.
This is your official notice of lay off, effective today, Thursday, May 24th, 2012."
