Battlefield 3 Caspian Border-password uitgelekt
Als je momenteel de Battlefield 3-bèta speelt op de pc dan zal je ongetwijfeld zien dat er een aantal servers met password zijn die de map "Caspian Border" hebben. Eerder deze dag was het wachtwoord van deze servers gelekt, wat uiteraard niet de bedoeling was.
Battlefield Community Manager, Daniel Matros heeft een bericht gewijd aan wat ze momenteel aan het doen zijn met de nieuwe map. "Passwords are being given out to selected community members, sites and clans to help us evaluate the feedback we are getting as well as making sure that the map is continiously being tested," aldus Daniel. De maps worden momenteel getest door een selectie van clans en spelers om te voorkomen dat er straks bugs in de maps zitten.
"The passwords will be changed on a frequent basis and I am personally making sure that as many community people as possible who are engaged in different community sites get the chance to try the map out and supply us with feedback. This in itself was a challenge. This is only meant to be for internal testing. When footage and passwords start being spread around, it´s difficult for me to justify the community´s cause about joining us in our internal testing. So please, if you are participating in the testing, please don´t post any footage and please don´t spread the password. If we can´t keep this in an organized fashion, I won´t be able to include the community into more cool stuff in the future," aldus Daniel Matros.
Een kleine selectie van gamers kan het voor de rest verpesten. Wanneer passwords blijven uitlekken en footage op internet verschijnt zal DICE de community niet meer bij het testen betrekken.
Update:
Het ziet er naar uit dat Daniel Matros toch besloten heeft het wachtwoord nu publiekelijk te maken.
Mensen die "Caspian Border" willen spelen moeten als wachtwoord "sexyelevator" gebruiken. Vanavond om 18:00 zal dit wachtwoord weer veranderen.
