Gamespot verliest 3e medewerker dankzij ontslag Gerstmann

De website Joystiq heeft van oudgediende Gamespotter Alex Navarro te horen gekregen dat ook hij de CNET gamessite zal gaan verlaten. Net als zijn collega Frank Provo doet hij dit als respons op het controversiele ontslag van editorial director Jeff Gerstmann.

Hij verklaart in een interview: "I felt like it was just time for me to go, certainly [the decision to leave] had a lot to do with the whole Jeff [Gerstmann] situation. ... I wouldn't have left if this situation hadn't gone down the way it did. ... Sometimes you just realize a place isn't for you anymore, you know?"

Het hele Gertmann-debacle speelt dus nog steeds binnen Gamespot, het ontslag lijkt dus nog een heel lang staartje te krijgen.
