Ontwikkeling Rainbow Six: Patriots is niet gestopt

Een van de grootste afwezigen bij de E3 was Rainbow Six: Patriots, vandaag laat Ubisoft weten dat de game nog steeds in ontwikkeling is. Volgens Tony Key, senior vicepresident bij Ubisoft was het nog niet de juiste tijd om de shooter te laten zien op de E3.

Ondanks de afwezigheid van Rainbow Six: Patriots, geeft Tony Key wel aan dat de game nog gewoon in ontwikkeling is. “Let’s just say that Rainbow 6 is still in active development but what we decided was that the best thing for the brand was to not bring it to the show right now”, aldus Key.

Daarnaast kreeg Tony Key een vraag voorgeschoteld of de game niet is vooruitgeschoven naar de next-gen waarop zijn antwoord duidelijk was. “This is the only generation [PS3/360] that I know about, so I would assume yes", aldus Key. Rainbow Six: Patriots moet ergens volgend jaar verschijnen voor Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 en pc.
