Capcom zegt sorry voor Resident Evil: Revelaitons
Capcom vindt de typo op het hoesje van Resident Evil: Revelaitons, dat Revelations hoorde te zijn, een stomme fout en biedt dan ook hun excuses aan.
Capcom heeft namelijk 90.000 kopieën verstuurd met de tekst Resident Evil: Revelaitons.
"It's embarrassing. I can't really sugarcoat it, I can't even tell you how many people looked at that package and approved it. Nintendo of America, Nintendo Japan, ESRB, I don't know how many people internally, and our guys in Japan. I can't come up with an excuse for it. It just happened. We're not happy about it" ,aldus Capcom US exec Christian Svensson.
Toch kan hij er aan de ene kant wel om lachen: "There are only about 90,000 units that have the [Revelaitons] misprint, If you've got it and it's shrink-wrapped, that's a new special edition, that's our new strategy."
Ondanks dit voorval is er ook goed nieuws voor Capcom, zo zijn er meer dan genoeg pre-orders voor Resident Evil 6. "Dit is de beste pre-order-start voor een Resident Evil-game ooit", aldus Chris.
Capcom heeft wel vaker iets met fouten in een game of trailer. Zo staat er op Capcoms Asura's Wrath 'near-impossible chanllenges' terwijl een trailer van Steel Batallion refereert naar 'Capcpom'.
