Xperia Play-games kosten maximaal 10 pond
Games voor de Xperia Play, de game-telefoon van Sony Ericsson, zullen tussen de 1 en 10 pond gaan kosten, aldus David Hilton van Sony. De game zal met zes pre-loaded games komen en 50 games zullen beschikbaar zijn voor download.
De titels die al beschikbaar zijn op de telefoon zijn FIFA 10, Crash Bandicoot, The Sims 3, Star Battalion, Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors en Tetris. Sommige titels zullen PSone-titels zijn, sommige games zullen speciaal gemaakt zijn voor de Xperia Play. Het verschil met andere telefoons is de manier waarop je speelt, volgens Hilton. Je wil niet met je vingers over het scherm heen gaan omdat dat je zicht belemmert. Met de Xperia Play heb je je volledige scherm in zicht en speel je met de controls die eronder hangen.
"The main thing is to offer something different. ... But now the hardware allows you to play far more complex games. You don't want to be playing these with your fingers all over the screen. You want full visibility and the ability to control the games with the sort of interfaces you have on your games console."
De Xperia Play zal in april uitkomen.
