Apple stelt blu-ray voorlopig uit

Apple heeft aangegeven om nog even te wachten met Blu-ray, voordat zij het in hun laptops gaan plaatsen. Dat zei de CEO Steve Jobs tijdens het 'the spotlight turns to notebooks' evenement van het bedrijf.

"It's great to watch the movies, but the licensing of the tech is so complex, we're waiting till things settle down and Blu-ray takes off in the marketplace."

Ondanks het feit dat Blu-ray de officiële opvolger is van de huidige DVD, zullen we toch even moeten wachten voordat we Apple notebooks kunnen verwachten met Blu-ray spelers.
