De nieuwste Mario game, Super Paper Mario voor de Wii, doet het erg goed in Japan. In de eerste week is de game op één binnen gekomen en zitten de verkopen tegen de 150.000 exemplaren aan. Ook andere nieuwe binnenkomers als de special edition van Persona 3 doen het goed:
