Het Guinness Book of Records komt met een speciale editie over videogames. In deze editie kun je onder andere lezen welke gamer er het meest verdient met zijn hobby en er staan natuurlijk ook game-highscores in.

Het Guinness Book of Records heeft alweer een tijdje terug een videogame sectie in het jaarlijkse boek gestopt, maar deze is zo populair dat het een eigen boek verdiende. Hoofdredacteuer Craig Glenday vertelt:

We reintroduced videogaming world records to our annual book a few years ago, and it�s proved to be one of the most popular sections with our core readers. It makes sense, therefore, to dedicate an entire annual to the subject.

Our record researchers are already scouring the videogaming community for superlatives, and the vast number of games, gamers, developers and platforms mean that we have an incredible pool of content to dip into each year. It's going to be a very exciting project

Het Guinness World Records - Videogame Edition 2008 wordt onthuld op London Book Fair welke gehouden wordt tussen 16 en 18 april aanstaande. Een releasedatum is nog niet bekend.
