Moslim blog beschuldigt America's Army van hersenspoelen

De blog Empowered Muslim Youth heeft een kritisch stuk geschreven over de gratis online shooter America's Army. Dit spel heeft al het nodige negatieve commentaar mogen verduren uit eigen land, maar wordt dus nu ook vanuit andere kanten onder vuur genomen.

De game bestaat sinds enkele jaren en is ontwikkeld door het Amerikaanse leger. Door middel van de game proberen zij nieuwe rekruten te werven, aangezien de war on terror nog steeds bezig is. De internationale blog beschuldigt het leger er nu ook van met behulp van de game de jeugd te willen hersenspoelen.

Brainwashing the youth to fight in almost real-life situations which a solider would face if fighting in Iraq for instance, is most definitely a way to recruit more soldiers for the future.
