Lucasarts in de clinch met Digg
Lucasarts heeft in een ver verleden de adventure The Dig uitgegeven, en heeft een trademark op de titel van de game. Nu vindt Lucasarts dat Digg te veel lijkt op hun trademark, en daarom worden er nu stappen ondernomen tegen Digg.
"THE DIGG mark is confusingly similar in sound, meaning, and appearance to the Opposer's THE DIG mark. The Applicant's registration and use of the DIGG Mark would likely create confusion, mistake, or deception in the minds of prospective purchasers as to the origin or source of the Opposer's Goods associated with THE DIG Mark," aldus een juridisch document.
Of het ook echt komt tot een rechtszaak is nog niet bekend.
