Tales-games naar PlayStation 4, niet naar Xbox One

Namco Bandai's Tales-serie krijgt games op PlayStation 4, maar Xbox One-versies kunnen we vergeten. Dit liet producer Hideo Baba weten. In 2009 kwam de eerste en meteen ook de laatste Tales-game uit voor Xbox 360.

“We are currently in the very early phases of work for next generation Playstation titles,” zo bevestigde Baba in een interview met Gaming Angels.

“But we still have no plans to bring the series back to the Xbox, or Xbox One. We feel that our core fanbase leans toward the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, so we are focusing our efforts on bringing the best possible Tales experience there.”

Volgend jaar komen Tales of Xilia 2 en Tales of Symphonica Chronicles eerst nog uit voor PlayStation 3.
