FIFA 14 wordt snel gepatcht

FIFA 14 is nog niet eens officieel uit of er worden al patches uitgebracht. De mensen die de early access-versie van de game spelen klagen steen en been over kopballen en 'finesse shots' en die gaan ook aangepakt worden.

Op het officiële forum laten de ontwikkelaars weten dat het spel snel gepatcht gaat worden om de balans in het spel te verbeteren: "Our commitment to improve FIFA 14 is ongoing, and regular feedback from our fans helps us prioritise and identify future improvements. We wanted to take this opportunity to address a few more items that we continue to work towards. Firstly, we got some great feedback on gameplay during the demo and early access period, including:

• "The effectiveness of headers from corner kicks and crosses.
• "The effectiveness of finesse shots.
• "The accuracy of lofted through-balls.

"We look to update you in the near future with good news on the identified gameplay tweaks."

Ondertussen heeft EA Sports al een day-one patch uitgebracht voor FIFA 14 dat "minor stability issues" en enkele bugs in de skill games en creation centre moet verhelpen. De ontwikkelaar adviseert iedereen die de early access-versie speelt om eerst de update te downloaden, voordat ze verder gaan met spelen.

"Finally, we're aware that some users are experiencing freezes during the game. We continue to investigate these reports internally, and with our partners, and will update the community when we know more," aldus de ontwikkelaars.

FIFA 14 ligt vrijdag in de winkels voor pc, PlayStation 3 en Xbox 360. Later komen versies uit voor PlayStation 4 en Xbox One.
