Laatste Twilight grootste kanshebber Razzies

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is de grootste kanshebber bij de 33e editie van de Razzie Awards. De afsluiter van de vampierreeks maakt onder andere kans op de prijzen voor Slechtste Film, Slechtste Acteur voor Robert Pattinson en Slechtste Actrice voor Kristen Stewart.

De conclusie van de romantische beslommeringen rond Bella en Edward heeft maar liefst elf nominaties gekregen, wat knap is aangezien er maar tien categorieën zijn. Naast The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 maken de komedie That's My Boy met Adam Sandler en de sci-fi actiefilm Battleship grote kans op prijzen bij de tegenhanger van de Oscars. Deze drie titels zijn genomineerd voor Slechtste Film samen met de kinderfilm The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure en A Thousand Words met Eddie Murphy.

De 'creatieve' duizendpoot Tyler Perry is dit jaar de meest genomineerde persoon. Hij maakt kans op de prijzen voor Slechtste Acteur, Slechtste Actrice, Slechtste Regisseur en Slechtste Filmduo. Verder is zijn film Madea's Witness Protection kanshebber in de categorieën Slechtste Film en Slechtste Filmensemble, waardoor de teller voor de acteur, producent en regisseur op zes nominaties komt te staan.

Op 23 februari - een dag voor de Oscaruitreiking - worden de winnaars van de prijzen voor de meest wanstaltige films van 2012 bekendgemaakt.
