Flora en Fauna op je 3DS

Nintendo maakt naast games ook regelmatig andere software voor hun hardware. Zo was er bijvoorbeeld een kookboek voor Nintendo DS. Voor Nintendo 3DS komen ze met een soort encyclopedie voor Flora en Fauna.

In Hana to Ikimo no Rittai Zukan, zoals de Japanse naam luidt, kun je allerlei informatie vinden over planten en dieren. De inhoud is als volgt:

- 1286 species of plants, 386 insects, 166 birds and more, 2000 items in total
- encyclopedic information provided by Heibonsha
- pictures and 3D models
- library of insect and animal calls
- search by a variety of categories, such as color, size, season, location, etc.
- uses the 3DS's outer cameras to help identify flowers
- uses the gyro for looking at virtual galleries
- explore relationships between plants and animals
- quiz mode: test your flower-identification skills
