'PS Vita pas in 2012'

Een retailer met nauwe contacten bij Sony Europa heeft aan de website CVG verteld dat de PlayStation Vita pas in januari of februari in de Europese winkels komt te liggen. Men gaat er wel vanuit dat Amerika en Japan de nieuwe handheld van Sony voor Kerst 2011 in hun handen hebben.

"Sony knows it's effectively gifting the festive handheld market to 3DS - but is still really confident of a success. The overall strategy is that they want the hardcore to buy first and then spread the word. It's a blow for us, but they think they can still do that in the UK without the Christmas sales boost."

Sony zelf geeft als antwoord dat ze nog geen releasedatum hebben aangekondigd. In principe is alles dus nog mogelijk. Wat we wel weten is dat PlayStation Vita in twee smaken komt, met en zonder 3G voor 299 of 249 euro.
