Nintendo heeft matige maand in Amerika

Mei was voor Nintendo geen goede maand als het draait om verkoopcijfers. Nintendo Wii verkocht minder dan Xbox 360 met 236.000 tegen 270.000 verkochte units. Ook Nintendo 3DS blijft nog steeds achter met slechts 97.000 verkochte units. Het totaal aantal verkochte 3DS-units in Amerika staat nu op ongeveer 700.000.

Ook qua games gaat het niet goed met Nintendo 3DS, er staat geen enkele 3DS-game in de top 10 best verkochte titels. Sony heeft het ook nog steeds moeilijk in Amerika. PlayStation 3 eindigde weer als derde met 175.000 verkochte consoles in de maand mei. De cijfers voor Nintendo DS en PSP zijn helaas niet bekend op dit moment.
