PS3-bezitters mogen op Crysis 2 demo hopen

Xbox 360-spelers zijn al een tijd aan de gang met de Crysis 2-beta. De pc-demo komt op 1 maart uit. Wanneer mogen PS3-bezitters dan aan Crysis 2 proeven? Tot nu zijn bijna alle hands-on's van de game met de 360- of pc-versies geweest. Boze tongen beweren dat de PS3-versie achtergehouden wordt omdat het de minste versie zou zijn.

Crysis 2-producent Nathan Camarillo heeft inmiddels gehint naar een PS3-demo. “We want as many people to play Crysis 2 as possible” en “I can’t say anything too specific … we haven’t announced [the demo] yet”. Ook liet Camarillo weten dat er door Crytek aan DLC wordt gewerkt. “You can imagine we will support Crysis 2 with downloadable content [...] but I can’t say specifically what it is yet”.

Verder verzekerde hij dat de PS3- en 360-versies niet van elkaar zullen verschillen. "People can try to find them [disparities], but they won't find anything. They both run great, they both play great whether you're playing single-player or multiplayer - they're identical offerings. The quality is outstanding on both of them; there's really no difference."

Crysis 2 komt 25 maart in Europa uit voor PS3, 360 en pc.
