Uitslag VT1 Grand Prix van Engeland
 | Felipe Massa heeft de snelste tijd neergezet tijdens de eerste vrije training voor de Grand Prix van Engeland. De Braziliaan reed 1:19.575 en was daarmee een fractie sneller dan Hekki Kovalainen en Lewis Hamilton. Rubens Barrichello sloot de rij af als twintigste. |
Helemaal vlekkeloos ging de eerste vrije training niet in Silverstone. Na een uur training werd de rode vlag gezwaaid omdat Felipe Massa er hard vanaf ging. De Ferrari-coureur schoot er in Stowe af nadat Fernando Alonso op dat punt zijn motor opblies.
