Microsofts Aaron Greenberg gelooft dat de hardnekkige Xbox 360 hardware-problemen helemaal verleden tijd zijn dankzij verbetering van de productie. De meeste verbeteringen zitten in de chips en de koeling. De standaard garantie van de Xbox 360 is een jaar, de beruchte 'Red Ring of Death' wordt tot drie jaar na de aankoop gemaakt.
