NCsoft onthult nieuwe studio

NCsoft heeft bekend gemaakt dat zij een nieuwe studio, Carbine Studios, heeft geopend in Californië (VS).
Ondanks dat Carbine een nieuwe studio is, zijn de werknemers hier niet bepaald nieuwkomers op het gebied van MMO ontwikkeling. Zo werken er mensen die in het verleden hebben bijgedragen aan bekende titels zoals: World of Warcraft, Fallout, City of Heroes, en Asheron's Call.

Robert Garriott, CEO van de Noord Amerikaanse divisie van NCsoft is erg blij met de nieuwe stiudio:

"This is a dev team made in heaven. This group is as experienced as they come in the area of computer role playing and multiplayer game design. Making successful games is second nature to them."
They are a very welcome addition to the NCsoft family. The gaming community should be excited to see what great things come out of Carbine Studios in the coming years"

Carbine Studios is op dit moment bezig met het ontwikkelen van een(tot nu toe) nog onbekende MMO.
