WoW krijgt kerstsfeertje

Voor de een een zegen, voor de ander dagen van pure ellende; de kerst staat weer voor de deur. Dit jaar zal de kerstman ook zijn opwachting maken in World of Warcraft. Hier gaat hij echter door het leven met de naam Greatfather Winter. Hij gaat tussen 15 december en 2 januari Azeroth in een complete kerstsfeer hullen waar wij allemaal van kunnen gaan genieten. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld je eigen rendier kopen, sneeuwbalgevechten houden of je zelf veranderen in een sneeuwman. Jullie staan vast ook te springen! Hier een overzicht en wat screenshots van alle verrassingen die Blizzard voor ons in de planning heeft ter verhoging van de feestvreugde.


* Azeroth's major cities will be decked out with Christmas decorations.
* The Jinglepocket Goblins have set up their seasonal fare shops in major cities.
* Purchase holiday favourites, including winter ale, candy, gingerbread cookie recipes, and mistletoe.
* Two quest lines are available, the one line from last year, and a new one to save a lost reindeer.
* Goblin devices are placed throughout the world with a "small surprise" for those who use them.
* Revellers spawn in the inns; give them a little kiss to receive magical mistletoe and holly.
* Have your friendly, local engineers memorize the schematic to construct real snowball makers.
* Buy loads of snowballs and have entertaining fights with all your friends.
* Send your friends nicely wrapped up presents with Christmas gift wrappers.
* Turn yourself into a real snowman with an especially cold quest reward.
* Turn your mount into a special Reindeer for the holiday season.
