De Bijbel via de Xbox 360
Christelijke gamers hoeven dadelijk nooit meer van hun Xbox 360 vandaan. Voor Xbox Live Indie Games (wat helaas nog niet toegankelijk is in Nederland) verschijnt er namelijk binnenkort de applicatie Bible Navigator X.
Voor 400 Microsoft Points ($5) kan je al dit moois downloaden met daarbij een handige zoekfunctie en bookmarkfunctie. Tevens heb je dan de keuze uit 10 thema’s om de boel nog een beetje op te vrolijken. Of het iets is waar gamers op zitten te wachten is een tweede, maar de producent Aaron Linne is er wel van overtuigd en had er dit over te zeggen:
"This application will bring the Bible into people's living rooms and onto their televisions in a completely new and innovative way. The Xbox isn't just secular entertainment anymore. We can use technology that other people developed to study Scriptures through a new medium. Some people are just more comfortable with a controller in their hands than a book"
Bible Navigator bevat het volledige oude en nieuwe testament en wordt volgens de uitgever gezien als een handige tool om de bijbel toegangelijker te maken voor jongeren.
